Competition Electrics early beginnings date back to 1977 with our involvement in Rallying. Through a general automotive business we operated in those days we found our motor racing clientele increasing rapidly as participation in the sport brought about an understanding of the requirements of such competitors. Our business benefited from the firms ability to supply components which demonstrated a high degree of reliability and performance. Even in those early days our services were helping competitors to achieve their goals with a number of teams going on to win State titles and others competed reliably at national level.
Competition Electrics over the past 30 years has continued to develop its skills in the Motor Racing Industry and through natural expansion into other categories now possesses a wide array of experience. We have developed hand in hand with a number of different motorsport componentry such as Engine Management Systems and Data Loggers. In 1992 it became clear that the motorsport content of our company was developing faster and the decision was made to drop road cars work and concentrate completely on competition vehicles only. This decision allowed us to pursue work from a wider range of competitors and we now find our clientele list includes teams competing in Circuit Racing, Drag Racing, Rallying, Oval Track, Motor Cycle Racing, Off Road Racing and Power Boat Racing of which many have gone on to win State, National and International events. Many of our clients are regarded as the team to beat in their category.
Competition Electrics offers a wide range of services which includes wiring looms for Engine Management Systems, Data Loggers, Electronic Dashes and full vehicle wiring installations not only for motorsport vehicles but also for Hot Rods, Boats, Custom vehicles & Recreational Vehicles including 4wd's and Caravans. We also supply High Performance Componentry for all projects.
